Court Interpreting Services


Pursuant to §90.606 and §90.6063, Florida Statutes, the Second Judicial Circuit provides interpretation services for deaf persons and for individuals who are unable to speak or understand English.

Types of cases for which interpretation is provided

The court provides interpreters for all Circuit and County criminal cases, Juvenile Delinquency and Dependency, Domestic and Repeat Violence, Criminal Contempt, Mental Health/Incapacity, and in some Probate and Guardianship cases.

Our interpreters

The Second Judicial Circuit utilizes qualified spoken language and sign language interpreters pursuant to the guidelines of the Florida Supreme Court.
